We're searching for the UK's next big drag star...

If you think this could be you, you could win an all-expenses-paid trip to San Francisco as well as the chance to perform at iconic LGBTQ+ venue, Oasis during San Francisco Pride Month.

Virgin Atlantic and San Francisco Travel Association are on the search for the UK’s next iconic Drag star, to visit San Francisco on a trip of a lifetime during Pride month in June 2022. The winning drag performer will be accompanied by stars Kitty Scott-Claus and Vanity Milan as well as get to perform a set at the iconic LGBTQ+ venue, Oasis.

The airline and the city of San Francisco are on the hunt for Queens, Kings and drag performers from right across the rainbow who truly champion individuality in the UK and who will strut their stuff on stage during San Francisco Pride Month.

To be in with a chance of winning, you will need to record yourself performing our cabin crew safety demonstration with a twist and share a compelling story about why you deserve to join the brilliantly different, once in a lifetime trip to San Francisco. 

The prize

If you’re the winner, then you will fly with Virgin Atlantic from London Heathrow to San Francisco on 9 June where you will experience a royal welcome and three-night stay at Hilton Union Square in San Francisco. On the trip, you will be joined by Ru Paul’s Drag Race break out stars Kitty Scott-Claus and Vanity Milan, who will mentor you and champion the activity as you all create engaging content showcasing your travel experience and drag performance at Oasis. 

The flight to San Francisco itself will be in Upper Class, where you will enjoy a glass of champagne on arrival and a delicious three course meal before relaxing on a flat bed or enjoying Virgin Atlantic’s iconic onboard social space. 

Whilst in San Francisco, you will experience the city’s icons, outdoor scenery, diverse neighbourhoods, amazing culinary scene, and vibrant nightlife. Throughout the trip local ambassadors will provide historical context, insider views, and lively tours.
