We’re aware of the proposed industrial action between 31 March and 9 April 2023 by Unite members employed by Heathrow Airport, including Terminal 5 and campus security guards.

Between 31 March and 2 April we expect the airport to be particularly busy, with longer wait times at security if the strike goes ahead. To support existing customers with departing flights, we’ve introduced a flexible policy which allows free of charge rebooking, if customers prefer to avoid the busiest strike days.

This policy is to allow customers more flexibility in addition to original fare rules.

Fare difference must include all taxes/charges.

Booking cancellations, refunds and downgrades are subject to the original fare rules, unless permitted by this policy – whichever is the most flexible.

Itinieraries must be rebooked on VS/VS* tickets.

Customers must advise of changes to their travel plans before their original travel date, or no show policy will apply.

Rebook in the same booking class in the same cabin. If the same booking class is not available, please rebook in the lowest class available.

Fare difference charges apply for all travel rebookings outside of travel dates covered.
