Delta Air Lines has changed the aircraft type for the LGW-JFK service between 2nd July and 20th August 2024.

Affected Dates: 2nd July 2024 – 20th August 2024

Update Completed On: 18th May 2024

What This Means:

Customers booked in the Premium Select cabin during these dates have been upgraded to Delta One.

This change is reflected in the GDS. Below are the General Guidelines for this change and guidance for ticketed and unticketed customers.

  • This guidance applies to all Virgin Atlantic (VS/VS*) bookings issued on 932 ticket stock, including unticketed bookings, regardless of the ticket type, and includes fares that are usually non-changeable.
  • This guidance is specific to the impacted sectors where Premium Select bookings have been rebooked into Delta One due to the Schedule Change process.
  • Booking cancellations, changes, and downgrades are subject to the original fare rules.

Tickets can be issued with the updated itinerary in Delta One

Tickets can be issued using the original stored fare & YQ (fuel surcharge)

Current taxes and surcharges must be collected at the time of ticketing

Tickets must be issued within the original ticketing time limit

Any voluntary changes are subject to the original fare rules

 

Update the SI field with the following information:

Please reissue tickets to include endorsement:

Where supported, precede the fare calculation with "S-"

Tickets must be reissued with the updated itinerary in Delta One.

Tickets can be reissued using the original fare as an even exchange.

Tickets must be reissued before departure.

Voluntary changes and refunds are subject to the original fare rules.
