Which policy applies to me?

For all new bookings from 24 June 2022 onwards, the terms to change your booking will depend on your type of ticket. We’ll continue to help our customers book with confidence, with the ability to change plans if a customer tests positive for COVID-19 and previous flexible booking policies applicable based on the date of booking – see below for earlier policies. For all flights, make sure you understand the Conditions of Carriage and for package holidays, the terms and conditions will set out your options. As ever, you should ensure you have adequate travel insurance for your trip.

Flight bookings

The options available to you may differ slightly depending on when you made your flight booking, and the type of ticket you have. The ability to make unlimited date changes without admin fees applies to Virgin Atlantic bookings made between 3rd March 2021 and 23rd June 2022. If you booked before this and would like to make a change, check out our earlier policies.

Package holiday bookings

The options available to you may differ depending on when you are due to travel. All up to date details can be found here, and we will contact you directly if your booking is affected by any recent changes.

Do bear in mind that any new travel arrangements are subject to availability, and there may be a difference to pay if you change your dates or cabin, and the new ticket price is higher. There may be other charges to pay under our standard Virgin Holidays terms and conditions or on the conditions of carriage for Virgin Atlantic

If your flights are cancelled please refer to our flight disruptions page for more information, or refer to your cancellation options
