Updated Earning Rates Across Partner Airlines
We’ve made some exciting updates to Flying Club earning rates across our partner airlines. Whether you're planning your next getaway or a business trip, you’ll now earn even more Virgin Points in the skies. Here's what's changed:
Virgin Australia – More Ways to Earn in Economy
We’ve expanded your earning options in Economy Choice! You can now earn Virgin Points when flying in fare classes F and U, in addition to the existing eligible classes. More flexibility, more rewards.
Air New Zealand – Updated Premium & Economy Earning Rates
We've adjusted the earning rates across key cabin classes. Fly smarter with these revised rates that reward you even more in Economy.
Premium Economy: Earns at 125% down from 150%
Economy: Boosted to 75% from 50% in four fare classes
South African Airways – Domestic Business Class Just Got Better
Planning to travel within South Africa? Great news.. It’s now even more rewarding to fly in comfort across South African domestic routes.
Business Class: Increased earn at 150% from 125%
Discounted Business Class: Improved earn at 125% from 100%

Our frequent flyer programme partnership with Hawaiian Airlines is ending on the 30th June 2025. From then on you won't be able to book a new reward flight or earn your Tier and Virgin Points. If you've already for a flight booked, don't worry, you'll be able to take off as planned.

Singapore Airlines
Our frequent flyer programme partnership with Singapore Airlines is ending on 23rd April 2025.
From then on you won’t be able to book a new reward flight departing after 23rd April. If you’ve already got a flight booked, don’t worry, you’ll be able to take off as planned.
