Virgin Atlantic Pre Select is available to all our Upper Class passengers with a valid email address provided at the time of booking your flight or as per your Flying Club profile and travelling on a confirmed ticket from Manchester to Barbados, Orlando, Atlanta and New York and from Gatwick to Saint Lucia, Barbados, Las Vegas, Antigua, Havana, Orlando, Cancun and Montego Bay.
The Pre Select service is available to passengers via email selection. Orders must be placed between 72 and 24 hours booking window prior to departure.
While Virgin will make reasonable efforts to fulfil all meal requests, meal choices cannot be guaranteed and Virgin reserves the right to change the menu choice without prior notice.
If passengers change their flight, departure date or class of cabin the existing pre select request will be cancelled. If the passengers amended flight details falls within the -72 to -24 booking window prior to departure, a new email will be sent and passengers are required to resubmit their selection.
If Virgin Atlantic changes your flight or departure date, Virgin Atlantic will endeavour to fulfil your original order. However, for operational reasons your meal choice may not be available on your new flight.
Virgin Atlantic Pre Select is separate from the dietary meal offering that is available to passengers with specific dietary requests. If you require a dietary meal order please make this choice via Manage My Booking.
If you have already chosen a dietary meal, you will not be eligible to pre-select a meal from our standard Inflight menu unless the dietary meal is removed for your booking.
It is the lead passengers responsibility to check and confirm nutritional and allergen information at the time of pre selecting your meal or pre selecting meals on behalf of others passengers travelling on the same booking. By ticking the check box you are confirming that the meal selections are suitable for all the passengers in your group taking into account the allergen information provided.
Virgin Atlantic reserves the right to make changes and substitute ingredients that may become unavailable due to operational circumstances. If you have a specific dietary requirement, Virgin Atlantic recommends you choose a special meal via Manage My Booking
If you have pre-selected a meal and change your mind on board then crew will make reasonable endeavours to accommodate your change, however, they may not be able to fulfil your request to provide an alternative option.
Our nut policy
Peanuts are never knowingly included in any of our meals. However our meals are not produced in a nut-free environment so may contain traces.
All other nuts may also be served on our flights to other passengers as part of the menu ingredients and/or the snack service, in any cabin. We also can’t stop other passengers from bringing (or eating) their own food onboard, which may include nuts.
In view of the above, we strongly encourage passengers to take all necessary precautions to prepare for the possibility of inadvertent exposure.
