Customers can earn Points when flying on Virgin Atlantic marketed flights, including connections onto IndiGo's network. 

 

Meals on IndiGo flights

A meal box will be included in the Virgin Atlantic fare, regardless of the cabin booked.

 

Baggage allowance

IndiGo will accept Virgin Atlantic baggage allowances as per the cabin booked on the Virgin Atlantic ticket.

 

Upper Class

  • Two checked in bags weighing up to maximum 32kg each
  • Two pieces of hand baggage, weighing up to maximum 12kg for one bag, or up to 16kg combined weight

 

Premium, Economy Classic or Economy Delight

  • Two checked in bags weighing up to maximum 23kg each
  • One piece of hand baggage weighing up to 10kg

 

Seat selection and web check-in

Customers can check-in online and select their seats on the respective airline websites.

Transfer / Connecting terminals

At Delhi, Virgin Atlantic operates from T3 while connecting IndiGo operated flights may be from any of the terminals – T1, T2 or T3.

At Mumbai, Virgin Atlantic operates from T2 while connecting IndiGo operated flights maybe from either T1 or T2.

 

Connections

For International to domestic connections, as per government rules customers must pick up bags, clear customs/immigration and re-check in for their domestic flight.

For domestic to international connections, all customers’ bags will be through checked until their final destination.
