High Five, landing soon

We love to find new ways to reward loyalty, knowing it flies in many different ways.

High Five is our newest way to say thank you our loyal Flying Club members. Launching January 2026, we'll be celebrating members who’ve stayed with us through the years and keep coming back, regardless of tier status or spend.

Fly with Virgin Atlantic over five different years, consecutive or not, and members will receive 12,000 Virgin Points, with a 10% Virgin Points boost for Red members on future flights. Plus, by backdating to 1 January 2021, tens of thousands of members will benefit from day one.

We have some exciting Caribbean connections news.

A new interline agreement with InterCaribbean Airways and enhanced partnership with Caribbean Airlines is opening up seamless travel to over 33 destinations across the region, with easy Through Check-In for bags straight to guests’ final destination.

Plus inter-island flights between Barbados, Grenada, and St Vincent now operate three times weekly on our state-of-the-art Airbus A330-900neo, setting a new standard for premium travel.

We’re launching daily direct flights from London Heathrow (LHR) to Seoul Incheon (ICN) from March 2026, marking our first-ever South Korean route. From Heathrow to hanoks in one smooth move.

And of course, flying with Virgin Atlantic means the experience starts well before your customers touch down. Onboard our 787 Dreamliner, they’ll get world-class service, award-winning entertainment, WiFi throughout, and menus worth looking up from their K-drama for.

They can go Upper Class for total luxury (plus cocktails at the bar), choose Premium for extra legroom and perks, or fly smart in Economy Light. However they roll, we’ll get them there in style.

From 18th October 2026, Virgin Atlantic will start seasonal services to Phuket, three times a week to Thailand’s largest island and a captivating destination, on a Boeing 787-9.

It will be the only direct route between London Heathrow and Phuket, making luxury winter escapes that much more accessible. There’s also advanced connectivity through our Bangkok Airways partnership leading to endless Thai adventures in Koh Samui, Krabi and beyond.

This expands our developing winter sun portfolio which includes Dubai, The Maldives and most recently Cancun. Phuket has a diverse culinary scene and attractions to offer travellers, from the Golden Buddha at Wat Khao Rang to the vibrant streets of old Phuket town offering a mix of sun, culture and adventure.

From Q3 2026, ten new A330neo aircraft will feature larger Upper Class cabins with 48 seats and six Retreat Suites plus larger Premium cabins with 56 seats.
And from 2028 our Boeing 787-9 fleet will undergo complete cabin refurbishment, introducing increased Upper Class cabins with 44 seats and 8 Retreat Suites, and Premium cabins with 56 seats.

On the 1st June 2025, Air France-KLM, Delta Air Lines, Virgin Atlantic Airways, and IndiGo signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to expand travel options and connectivity between the Americas, the UK, Europe, India, and beyond. The MoU outlines plans for codesharing, loyalty benefits, and cooperation in maintenance, repair, and overhaul support.

We are pleased to share news of a new partnership with Joby Aviation, to bring zero-emission electric air taxis to the UK and revolutionise short haul air travel.

The partnership (which builds on an existing agreement between Joby and Delta) aims to offer seamless, zero-emission, short-range journeys across the UK, starting with regional and city connections to our hubs at Heathrow and Manchester.

Joby’s electric air taxi is designed to carry a pilot and up to four passengers at speeds of up to 200 mph. They use six tilting propellers that allow it to take off and land vertically with a fraction of the noise produced by today’s helicopters.

We are delighted to announce the expansion of our codeshare agreement with WestJet, enhancing connectivity between Canada, the UK, and beyond. Customers can now book flights to London from cities including Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, Winnipeg, Ottawa, and more on a WestJet flight via Toronto Pearson International. From there, they will enjoy a seamless connection to our direct service from Toronto to London Heathrow, launching on 30th March 2025. This partnership will make it easier for customers to connect from Canada to Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Dubai, the Maldives, Cape Town, and Johannesburg via London Heathrow. Plus, with both airlines operating from Terminal 3 at Toronto Pearson, passengers can transfer smoothly without the hassle of collecting and re-checking baggage.

From 1 January 2025, UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) will require travellers holding physical documents—such as Biometric Residence Permits (BRP) and Biometric Residence Cards (BRC)—to use an eVisa as proof of their immigration status. Holders of these cards need to create a UKVI account to access their eVisa. Please inform your customers about this change and refer them to the UK Home Office’s guidelines for details on setting up an eVisa.
