Buy points

Standard Terms and Conditions 

Points should be credited to your account within 24 hours, though this may be longer in some cases.

A member can purchase a total of 200,000 points each calendar year, in increments of 1,000 points, for their own account and/or for the accounts of another member/other members. There is no limit to the number of members you can purchase for, so long as the total number of points purchased per person does not exceed 200,000 in each calendar year.

Members will have the right to cancel any purchases of points for up to 14 days after the date of purchase provided that none of the purchased points have been redeemed. If any of the purchased points have been redeemed, the member will not be entitled to a refund for any of the purchased points including those that have not been redeemed. Once the 14 day cooling off period has expired any points purchased and received by members are non-refundable and non-transferable, except as expressly permitted under  the terms and conditions of Flying Club. 

Every purchase comes with a one-off £15/$22 transaction fee. Members can purchase points in increments of 1,000. It costs £15/$25 for every 1,000 base points purchased. For example, if a member buys 1,000 base points they will pay £30/$47, if they buy 5,000 base points they will pay £90/$147 and if they buy 10,000 base points they will pay £165/$272. 

You won’t be able to buy, gift (or transfer) points if your points balance is zero.

Members planning to put their points towards a specific reward should check reward availability first.

*1.      Buy and Gift Virgin Points purchases made between 00:00 BST 9th June and 23:59 BST 18th July 2025 will be eligible to receive bonus points. The bonus points will be credited at the time of purchase and will appear on the member’s account within 24 hours.     

2.      Members who make a Buy or Gift purchase between 00:00 BST 9th June and 23:59 BST 23rd June 2025 will receive up to 70% bonus Virgin Points on their transaction. Members who make a Buy or Gift purchase between 00:00 BST 24th June and 23:59 BST 18th July 2025 will receive up to 60% bonus Virgin Points on their transaction.  Further details are set out below.

3.      If you buy, gift or transfer Virgin Points the Flying Club terms and conditions apply in addition to the terms and conditions set out below.

4.      The details of the bonus structure of the promotion are:

Up To 70% Bonus (9th June – 23rd June 2025):

< 5K: No Bonus

5K - 24K: 20% Bonus

25K - 69K: 40% Bonus 

70K - 124K: 60% Bonus

125K - 200K: 70% Bonus

Up To 60% Bonus (24th June – 18th July 2025):

< 5K: No Bonus

5K - 24K: 20% Bonus

25K - 69K: 30% Bonus

70K - 124K: 50% Bonus

125K - 200K: 60% Bonus 

Bonus offer ends 18th July 2025.

5.      The buy, gift and transfer Virgin Points service is operated on behalf of the Flying Club by Points.com Inc and so their terms and conditions will also apply.

6.      Points cost £15 for every 1,000 points plus every transaction comes with a one-off £15 transaction fee. So, if you buy 1,000 points you will pay £30, if you buy 5,000 points you will pay £90 and if you buy 10,000 points you will pay £165.

7.      You can purchase or gift points in increments of 1,000, subject to an overall limit of 200,000 points in each calendar year.

8.      You will have the right to cancel any purchases of points for up to 14 days after the date of purchase provided that none of the purchased points have been redeemed. 9. If points are to be used for a specific reward it is recommended that current availability of that reward is checked first.

10. You won’t be able to buy, gift (or transfer) points if your points balance is zero.
