Doing ‘good business’ isn’t just about the bottom line. It’s about leading the way in the decisions we make so that future generations get to enjoy everything the world has to offer. No matter who they are or where they start out in life.
From investing in flying the youngest and most fuel-efficient fleet in the sky to making our aircraft the most accessible yet, we‘re striving to make sure Virgin Atlantic is a force for good. Which in turn is good for our partners and flyer’s businesses as well. We all have ambitious targets; and together, we’ll help you hit them.
The first flight across the Atlantic using 100% SAF on a commercial aircraft demonstrating to the world that flying using 100% SAF can be done. If they make it, we will fly it.
Over 80% of our capacity is operated on next generation aircraft - twice the industry average. By 2027 that will be 100%. Today, if you fly with us from London Heathrow to New York JFK, you’ll emit up to 35% less CO2 than if you fly with our competitors (based on industry average).
From our industry leading tattoo and uniform policy to our belonging networks – we continue to approach DE&I with a challenger spirit.
We’re passionate about empowering the next generation in our communities to reach their potential. We’ve pledged £2.5 million over five years to support STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) initiatives with grants, sponsorships, and investments.
We’re committed to treating our direct and indirect suppliers with respect and dignity, in a way that minimises damage to the environment and natural resources
We enable our corporate customers the ability to take action on reducing their carbon footprint. Our Corporate SAF programme is aligned with industry best-practice, and is independently assured, and verified by third party experts.
