For example:

Spend £500 per month in store and collect 500 Clubcard points = 1,250 Virgin Points.

How to convert Tesco Clubcard vouchers

1. Auto turn your Clubcard vouchers into points.

Simply register for Tesco Clubcard or sign in. Click on 'Clubcard Account' in the top navigation, scroll down to select the "Voucher Schemes" page and then select the "Virgin Points" box.

You can exchange any Clubcard vouchers you already have, then on your next quarterly Clubcard statement your points will automatically be converted into Virgin Points. 

Please note, the minimum transaction value for auto-exchange is £1.50 in Clubcard vouchers which gets you 375 Virgin points.

An easy way to build up those points without the hassle of having to keep logging on when you get your Clubcard vouchers!

2. Turn your Clubcard vouchers manually into points.

You can manually turn your Clubcard vouchers into Virgin Points whenever you like, not just when you receive your Clubcard statement. Turn your Clubcard vouchers into Virgin Points points online. Choose the value of vouchers you would like to exchange and click 'add to basket'. Your points will then be credited to your Flying Club account within 28 days.

Earning Virgin Points:

*Clubcard points are not awarded on tobacco or tobacco related products, lottery, stamps, prescription medicines, infant formulae milk, Tesco Gift Cards, saving stamps, Esso fuel, in store concessions, Paypoint payments or for purchases of some Tesco Bank products. ** Various Clubcard points can be earned with all Tesco's companies at various earning levels, which can be exchanged into Virgin Points.

^Top-ups bought in the following places are eligible: Top-ups bought from a Tesco store (Clubcard must be scanned and registered to the customer's Tesco Mobile account); Top-ups bought via the Tesco Mobile website, SMS, Debit/Credit card over the phone and Automatic top-ups. Top-ups bought outside of Tesco or via ATMs (including Tesco Bank) or by e-top up outside of Tesco aren't eligible for Clubcard points.

Exchanging Virgin Points:

  1. Clubcard vouchers will be exchanged to Virgin Points within 28 days of the date of transaction.
  2. Clubcard points cannot be transferred back to your Clubcard account once exchanged and credited to your Flying Club account.

Please note: Only valid Clubcard vouchers (printed with the name of the Clubcard holder) making the booking, and that matches with name showing on the Clubcard Statement mailings and entitled 'voucher') can be turned into Virgin Points. Bookings can only be made by the Clubcard member. Vouchers may be pooled but only by members with accounts registered with Clubcard at the same postal address. Vouchers must be in date and not sold, damaged, defaced, copied, altered or redeemed.

2,000 bonus Virgin Points for Tesco auto-exchange - Terms and conditions

To receive 2,000 bonus Virgin Points you must:

1. Sign up for the first time by 13 September 2021 to automatically exchange your Tesco Clubcard vouchers to Virgin Points via the Flying Club programme

2. Remain signed up to automatically exchange your Tesco Clubcard vouchers to Virgin Points on 21 October 2021

3. Have at least £1.50 in Tesco Clubcard vouchers in your Tesco Clubcard account as at 21 October 2021

If you meet the above criteria, 2,000 Virgin Points will be awarded to your Virgin Atlantic Flying Club account by 21 November 2021.

Please note that if you have previously signed up to automatically exchange your Tesco Clubcard vouchers to Virgin Points (even if you are no longer automatically exchanging your Tesco Clubcard vouchers to Virgin Points), you will not be eligible to receive the 2,000 bonus Virgin Points.

1. INTRODUCTION

1.1 These terms and conditions govern your entry to participate in the prize draw to win 1 prize of 40,000 Virgin Points (“Prize”) which we will refer to as the “Prize Draw”.

1.2 Please read these terms and conditions carefully. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions, please contact our customer support team on +44 (0) 344 874 7747 to withdraw from the prize draw.

2. WHO WE ARE

2.1 This prize draw is offered to you by Virgin Atlantic Airways Limited ("we", "us" or “our”). We are the promoter of the prize draw.

2.2 Our registered office is at Company Secretariat - The Vhq, Fleming Way, Crawley, West Sussex, United Kingdom, RH10 9DF.

3. THE TERMS, CONDITIONS AND RULES FOR THE prize draw

3.1 The below rules apply to the prize draw. In addition to these rules, the Tesco Clubcard terms and conditions and the Flying Club terms and conditions apply. 

3.2 Any person who breaches these terms and conditions or the rules below may be excluded from access to the prize draw.

3.3 The following rules apply:

You must:

1. Sign up for the first time by 13 September 2021 to automatically exchange your Tesco Clubcard vouchers to Virgin Points via the Flying Club programme;

2. Remain signed up to automatically exchange your Tesco Clubcard vouchers to Virgin Points on 21 October 2021; and

3. Have at least £1.50 in Tesco Clubcard vouchers in your Tesco Clubcard account as at 21 October 2021.

You are not eligible to participate in the prize draw if you have previously signed up to automatically exchange your Tesco Clubcard vouchers to Virgin Points (even if you are no longer automatically exchanging your Tesco Clubcard vouchers to Virgin Points).

You will automatically receive one (1) entry into the prize draw provided that you have not stopped automatically exchanging your Tesco Clubcard vouchers to Virgin Points before 21 October 2021.

4. WINNER SELECTION

4.1 One (1) individual will be drawn at random within thirty (30) days of 21 October 2021 (“Winner”) and shall win the Prize.

4.2 Winner will be contacted within 72 working hours following the Prize Draw by email using the email address registered to the Winner’s Flying Club account. We may select another individual from the eligible pool if we are unable to contact you. Any alternative winner will be selected at random in accordance with the procedure set out above.

4.3 The Virgin Points forming the Prize will be credited to the Winner’s Flying Club account within seven (7) days after being contacted.

4.4 We will have the final overall decision over the selection of the Winner and this decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.

4.5 If you are the Winner, we may verify your eligibility and check your identity. If you have been asked for proof of your identity and/or your eligibility, your failure to provide such proof within a reasonable time could result in your disqualification from the prize draw or the withdrawal of the Prize.

4.6 All personal details and information you supply must be truthful and accurate.

4.7 Our employees and contractors (and their family members) (or those of any Virgin group companies) and the employees of our applicable third party partner(s) are excluded from entering the prize draw and any entries by them will not be considered.

4.8 If there is any fault, misunderstanding, mistake or dispute concerning the operation of the prize draw, including the acceptability of any entries, or the operation of any technical/communications system, our decision shall be final.

5. PRIZES

5.1 Unless we agree otherwise, no alternative Prize will be given to the Winner.

5.2 The Prize cannot be exchanged or transferred. No cash equivalent will be provided.

5.3 If you are the Winner, it is your responsibility to pay any and all applicable taxes on the Prize.

5.4 We will not award the Prize to you if to do so would be deemed unlawful.

6. YOUR PERSONAL DETAILS

We will use any personal details you have provided in connection with the prize draw in order to operate the prize draw that you are taking part in. As a member of the Virgin Atlantic Flying Club programme your personal data will be used in accordance with the Flying Club Privacy Policy.

7. OUR LIABILITY TO YOU

7.1 Nothing in these terms and conditions removes or limits our liability for: (a) fraud; (b) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; or (c) any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

7.2 We will not be liable to you if you suffer loss or inconvenience because of the failures of persons or systems that we do not directly control (e.g. mobile phone network operators, internet service providers, software providers and telephone traffic handlers).

8. THE LEGAL POSITION OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

8.1 These terms and conditions form a legally binding agreement between you and us. We reserve the right to change them and update them from time to time but if we do, we will post the changes on the Virgin Atlantic Flying Club website, the Tesco Clubcard website and the Tesco Clubcard mobile application.

8.2 If any provision of these terms and conditions is held to be illegal, invalid, void or otherwise unenforceable it shall be severed from the remaining provisions of these terms and conditions which shall as far as possible continue in full force and effect.

8.3 These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
