Earn points and tier points

Flying Club members can earn points based on a percentage of the miles you have flown depending on the cabin you are flying in. Take a look at the table below for more information.

The table below shows round-trip mileage, not including applicable taxes and surcharges. One-way trips are permitted at half of the round-trip mileage shown below. If a journey requires a connecting flight or stopover to reach the destination, points are charged for each sector.

 Important information regarding redemption bookings

Due to specific Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore’s (CAAS) requirements, booking redemptions on Singapore Airlines are temporarily unavailable. Existing tickets will be handled in accordance with current border restrictions and CAAS transit approvals. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Infant Reward Flight

An infant under two at the time of travel and not requiring a seat, will be charged the following points for a round trip. 

One-way journey's would require half the points.

Earning points:

Points may only be earned on flights operated by Singapore Airlines. Points that are earned retrospectively on Singapore Airlines can only be claimed for up to 6 months after the date of travel. Points will be issued to Flying Club members when they travel in the classes listed. It may take up to 60 days for missing points to appear on a Flying Club account.

Additional points will not be earned for bookings that are subsequently upgraded to a higher class whereby an additional fare difference is paid. Please refer to our Terms & Conditions on earning points on code share flights with our partner airlines.

And if you are a member of our partner airlines' frequent flyer programmes, you can only earn points in one programme for a particular flight.

Points can't be earned on flights operated by SilkAir. 

Please check our Terms and Conditions on earning points on codeshare flights with our partner airlines. Please note that Flying Club members will not earn points when booked within the following classes on the VS Codeshare flights (operated by Singapore Airlines) Booking classes which do not qualify for accruals are X, N & O (when booked as a VS Codeshare flight).

Spending points:

Redemptions in Business Class and First Class on their A380-800, 777-300ER and A350-900 aircraft types are not available.

Missing points

When claiming points please keep all copies of your original tickets/e-tickets and boarding passes until the correct amount of points appear on your account. If the points do not show on your account within six weeks, please contact us to claim them back.
