The points needed for this reward is double the standard points for reward flights, with the same seasonality applied. For example a return (two sectors) from London Heathrow to New York during peak season would be 80,000 points in Economy. You can find the points needed for each route and season here.

The only money you will need to pay will be for taxes, fees and carrier imposed charges, as you would for standard reward flights.

You may book up to 8 long haul flights per Gold membership year with this reward (that's 4 return trips). For example, if you were to fly from Tel Aviv to New York via London Heathrow, this would count as 2 separate flights, so you would need to use 4 Gold Rewards for a return flight.
