If you’re a fan of new wave EDM then Las Vegas is the place to be. The city’s thriving dance scene is an inescapable part of Vegas nightlife, and a revolving door of top international DJs have helped to attract a whole new generation of eager partygoers. A trip to this sprawling mass of hotels, casinos and bars would not be complete without experiencing Las Vegas EDM for yourself.

Revellers who want to dine before they dance should head to Hakkasan Las Vegas. The London-based brand has created this club spread over five floors in the MGM Grand Hotel. If your tastes veer towards the mainstream then you’re in luck – their collection of high profile resident DJs includes Calvin Harris and Tiesto.

From 11 storeys up at Drai’s, you get great views of the Strip. Hang on to your friends – there are lots of different indoor and outdoor areas to explore. Music lovers should head straight to the main room, where talents like Eric Prydz take the spotlight over more mainstream, big name DJs.

If pool parties are more your cup of tea then XS at Encore is the place for you. During the summer season Encore Beach Club host superstar DJs such as David Guetta and Avicii, and for the rest of the year at XS music comes courtesy of artists like Diplo and Will.i.am.

Another option for EDM fans is Light at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. Cirque du Soleil-esque performers are dangled above the crowd while the light shows are projected from behind the DJ booth. If you’re not a massive fan of crowds there’s tiered seating overlooking the dance floor and DJ booth – guest DJs include Skrillex, Alesso and Nicky Romero.

At Marquee Dayclub you can rent your own air-conditioned poolside cabana, where champagne is delivered via drone! Head to the nightclub on a Monday – it will surprise you by being packed to the rafters. Marquee is spread over three floors and has a rooftop area overlooking the main EDM stage. If you need a brief break from electronica, the 3rd floor plays hip-hop and more mainstream music. Expect to hear guest DJs like Markus Schulz, Firebeatz and Politik.

Whether you’re a real EDM enthusiast, or just after a great night out in Sin City, you’ll soon be jumping up and down to the beat of Las Vegas EDM.
