Bookings via Worldwide by easyJet are what we call self-connecting itineraries. In a nutshell this means:
- The booking process won’t differ much from what you're used to. You'll have the option to choose from all possible itineraries. Once you've found something that works for you, go ahead and book it.
- You only have to pay once.
- For added peace of mind, included in the price is the connection protection service which covers you in case of a missed connection.
- You'll receive 2 separate tickets – one for your Virgin Atlantic flight and one for your easyJet flight.
- Bear in mind that you need to enter the UK and clear customs when self-connecting between Virgin Atlantic and easyJet, which means you'll need to be eligible to enter the country. So make sure you have the relevant visas to hand.

How do I check in?
You'll need to check in for both flights individually. You should've received two booking references – one for your Virgin Atlantic flight and one for your easyJet flight. Please remember to check the baggage allowance on both airlines to avoid paying for additional baggage when you get to the airport.
What happens when I get to my connecting airport?
Once you land at your connecting airport you'll need to head straight through border control and collect your bags from the baggage hall (just as you would if you were at your final destination). Make sure you check the entry requirements for the country you are transiting through, as you will be required to cross the border and enter the country in order to transit. Once you have your bags you can check them into your onward flight at the check in area for the airline you are connecting to. As soon as you've checked your bags in you can breeze through security to catch your flight. You will also receive confirmation from Dohop Connect with an explanation on the self-connecting process.
What if my flight times change?
If any of your times change please contact Dohop Connect. Do not rebook any flights before you've spoken to them as your guarantee might become invalid. The team will talk you through the process and help you with next steps.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
If your flight is delayed please contact Dohop Connect and do not rebook any flights before you've spoken to them as your insurance might become invalid. Try to give the team a call before you depart (if you can). If your new flight results in a long wait time then Dohop Connect will provide you with food/drinks and accommodation.
Will I earn miles on the easyJet flight?
Afraid not, Flying Club miles are only available on flights operated by Virgin Atlantic or one of our Flying Club airline partners.
Can I redeem miles on the easyJet flight?
Sorry, it is only possible to redeem miles on Virgin Atlantic or other Flying Club partner flights.
Can I make changes to my flight?
Yes you can, dependent on the rules that your ticket has. To make changes to your flight, please contact Dohop Connect first, and do not rebook any flights before you've spoken to them as your insurance might become invalid. The team will talk you through the process and help you with next steps.
How do I select my seat?
To select your seat on your Virgin Atlantic leg please log into My booking. For your easyJet flight you can purchase your seat when you book your flight, or by logging in to your booking, otherwise your seat will automatically be allocated when you check in.
Why do I see 3 separate transactions on my credit card bill?
Don't panic, this is expected. Even though you're making one booking - each company will charge you individually. The 3 transactions are simply a break down of the total cost.
Can I check a bag in?
Yes you can. If you have booked a Virgin Atlantic Economy Classic, Economy Delight, Premium or Upper Class fare your baggage is included, if you have booked Economy Light, you can purchase checked in baggage by logging into your booking. For your easyJet flight you can select a bag at booking, or log into your booking to purchase before you travel.
