Morning

Rise and shine, fashionistas: Las Vegas is one of the best places to shop in the US, thanks to its huge array of malls, shopping centres, designer boutiques, outlets, and casino-hosted luxury enclaves. Once you’ve breakfasted at your hotel, kick off the day’s adventures from 10am at The Fashion Show. The largest shopping destination on the Strip (and among the most sizeable malls in America), it houses more than 250 individual shops as well as eight department stores. Drop by Sak’s Fifth Avenue, visit Neiman Marcus, and otherwise carve out several hours to see as much as possible. When a break is needed, pause for a lobster roll at Luke’s Lobster, which offers up the perfect mix of high-end seafood and speedy convenience. After all, there’s much more shopping to do.

Afternoon

Once you’ve seen as much of The Fashion Show as possible, take a breather and head beyond the Strip. It’s just a couple miles to Las Vegas North Premium Outlets, where you’ll have nearly as expansive a retail range — 175 different designer and name-brand stores can be found here — at between 25-65% off list prices. Drop by DKNY and Marc by Marc Jacobs, browse the racks at Michael Kors and Calvin Klein, and pick up matching accessories at Kate Spade and Coach.

Evening

For the final act of your shopping adventure around town, head back towards the neon lights of the Strip and venture to The Venetian: its Grand Canal Shoppes provide an unparalleled Vegas shopping experience (especially if you go window-shopping by gondola — really). After your time in the reduced-price outlets, you shouldn’t feel too guilty combing through the luxury wares, whether you head to Barneys New York, Burberry, or Louis Vuitton. The Shoppes are also home to six different art galleries and a range of high-end eateries, from Morels French Steakhouse & Bistro to Sushi Samba. And don’t worry about lingering late. As this is Vegas, closing time isn’t until 11pm or 12am, depending on the day you’re visiting.
