Flying Club Silver and Gold members can enjoy complimentary benefits as part of our Flying Club loyalty programme when traveling on ITA Airways.

As a Silver tier member, you’re eligible for our partner airline benefits, travel on any flights operated by ITA Airways, and you’re welcome to enjoy:

As a Gold tier member, your’re eligible for our partner airline benefits, travel on any flights operated by ITA Airways, and you’re welcome to enjoy:

  • Fastrack security (where available)

Flying with ITA Airways contributes to your Flying Club status, so you can progress through the tiers faster, unlocking more benefits along the way. The number of Tier Points earned depends on the cabin, booking class and distance you fly.

Travelling with infants?

If you're booking a Reward Flight for an infant under two at the time of travel, who will be travelling on your lap, you'll need the following points: 1,000 Virgin Points for Economy and 5,000 Virgin Points for Business.

Spending Virgin Points

To spend Virgin Points on ITA Airways, book direct with Virgin Atlantic. Select ‘Search for Reward Flights” when you search.

Already booked and want to earn points?

If you have already booked, you can still add your Flying Club number to your booking before you fly and earn points. If your flight number starts with VS, you can add you Flying Club number via Virgin Atlantic Manage My Booking. If your flight number does not start with VS, head to the airline’s frequent flyer programme and add your Flying Club number to your booking.

Earning Points:

  • Points can only be earned in one frequent flyer programme (Flying Club or a partner programme) and cannot be transferred between airlines.

  • Points may only be earned on flights marketed and operated by ITA Airways 

  • Reward Flights with partner airlines do not earn points.

  • Upgraded bookings to higher classes with an additional fare do not earn extra points.

 

Spending Points:

  • All mileage is for a one-way ticket excluding passenger taxes, duties, fee, charges and surcharges.

  • All reward flights on ITA Airways are subject to availability. 

  • Blackout dates may apply and certain routes may not be available.

  • Redemptions can only be made on ITA Airways operated flights 

  • Rewards cannot be booked on a ITA Airways marketed flight operated by another carrier.

Missing Points:

When claiming points please keep all copies of your original tickets/e-tickets and boarding passes until the correct amount of points appear on your account. If the points do not show on your account within six weeks, please contact us to claim them back.
