Small changes, big results

Challenging ourselves to do things better lies at the heart of everything we do. As an airline, we know we have a major role to play in protecting our planet. We’re working to make changes everywhere we can onboard, from removing single use plastic bottles to repairing and reusing our headsets. It’s all part of our mission to net zero, and we’re committed to every target on that journey.

Our mission to net zero

The time for action against climate change is now. We’ve set ambitious interim targets to take Virgin Atlantic to net zero carbon by 2050, including focussing on improving the efficiency of our fleet and increasing the use of sustainable aviation fuels. We’ve already reached some key milestones on our sustainability flightpath. We know there’s still a long way to go. But we’re in it for the long haul.

We believe that business can be a force for good. Find out what else we’re doing.
